There is an end to all good things, well not exactly The End but starting from April 1st Reliance Jio users will have to pay for Data on their mobiles.
Back in December 2016 The founder of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) Mr. Mukesh Ambani Announced Happy New Year offer, Which extended the Promo offer till March 31st.
Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday has announced Jio Prime for existing customers and those who join before March 31 which will cost ₹99/mo for the Subscription that will extend the benefits of Happy New Year offer until March 2018 and will cost ₹303/month which is ₹10/Day for unlimited Internet. All the local and STD calls do remain free.
Jio will announce their Prepaid and Postpaid plans for those who don’t choose to join Jio Prime on April 1.
In the Jio Digital event, Mukesh Ambani stated that India has surpassed China by 50% more Mobile internet users. He also promised that Jio will expand its coverage to all Towns, Cities, and villages in 2017 covering 99% of the population in India.
Jio since its launch has attracted more than 100 Million users within 170 days and Mukesh Ambani has thanked the users for it. With 7 new subscriptions, every second Jio has become the fastest growing Network in India.
Jio users have used more than 100 crore GB in the month of January and 200 crore hours of Voice calls.
