And Exynos 8895 Octa – EMEA variant. The S8 has 4GB of Ram and an ADRENO 540 GPU, has internal storage of 64GB, which is expandable up to 256GB. The S8 packs a 12MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary camera. The device runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh (non-removable) battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 arguably has the most beautiful, and most vibrant colored display. The phone has a higher screen to body ratio of 83.6% when compared to its predecessor i.e. the S7. There are no new camera modes added to the S8, it comprises the usual hyper-lapse mode, Panorama mode, Selective Focus mode, which is similar to the iPhone 7’s Portrait mode.
Certain filters similar to Snapchat’s AR (augmented reality) filters are also available to play around with.
The camera also has a manual mode and Auto HDR options.
We have to keep in mind that, the S8 improves upon its predecessors’ camera, with new firmware, some added options and improved processing achieved using a new Image Signal Processor, although this is a pretty considerable improvement, we don’t know how good of an improvement this is when compared to its predecessors and the smartphone industry in general.
The Galaxy S8 front shooter has been improved quite a lot, it is 8MP and has a f/1.7 lens. The most prominent and unique feature is that this front camera also has auto focus incorporated in it, which can now easily keep your face in focus, for those hassle-free selfies!
Auto – focus in secondary cameras is a very rare feature even in high-end smartphones today.

DEX is probably the most exciting and utilitarian feature, with the new S8.
Samsung DEX lets you connect your Samsung Galaxy S8 to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for a desktop experience completely powered by your phone!
All you need to go is, plug in your phone into a DEX station which connects to the monitor, connect a keyboard and mouse and you’re good to go.
As cool as it sounds, a lot of users, for their own purposes or work, would simply love the combination of the productivity of working on a Desktop, coupled with the portability of carrying around their mobile workplace, in their phone.
