Xiaomi has seen immense success with the launch of widely popular Redmi Note 4 in India and followed it up with equally successful Redmi 4A. Now Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi 4 in India. Redmi 4 was unveiled on Feb 28th earlier this year along with the companies home-made processor Surge-S1 in an event in china.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is an upgrade to the last year’s best smartphone under Rs.10,000 Redmi 3S. Redmi 4 keeps everything you like from the Redmi 3S and upgrades the necessary. Redmi 4 was launched in china as Redmi 4X.

Redmi 4 Full specifications, Price and Availability:
Redmi 4 comes with a 5 Inch HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution. the SoC inside get’s an upgrade, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC with Adreno 505 GPU. It will have 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB ROM and also a 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB ROM model. The memory in both the models can be expanded up to 128GB via Micro-SD card slot. The fingerprint scanner rest at the back of the device as we usually see in Redmi phones.

Powering all this is a mammoth 4100mAh non-removable battery.

As per the pricing, the 2GB/16GB model is expected to be priced at Rs. 7,500 while the 3GB/32GB model is expected to be priced at Rs. 9,000. Xiaomi has recently launched a 4GB/64GB model in china. We expect it to launch in India too. Redmi 4 will be available in 4 colors Rose Gold, Black, Silver, and Dark Grey. Xiaomi is expected to launch the smartphone on May 16.

Xiaomi has been outclassing its competition in the sub 10,000 price bracket with their Redmi phones. Last year’s Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s prime are the prime examples of this. Xiaomi has recently entered the offline market as well and it is planning to open its first Xiaomi Mi Home store in India on may 11.
